I got my hair cut last week with my girlfriend, Erica. We had such a great time going out together and getting an updated look. I really like it! It is a lot less poofy and is more manageable! I also use less product on it, it takes less time to dry and I don't have as many headaches, so it ends up being a good thing all around. This pic is not the best of me, whch brings me to my next "do" of sorts... I have started doing the gym thing. I have decided that something has to change and I am going to start. One of my girlfriends and I get together at 5:20AM to make it to the gym first thing. We went this morning and it was invigorating. I was so excited to go that I really didn't sleep well last night, I didn't want to miss it. I feel good that I am doing something about my weight, I really hate being this big. I am in the process of weaning the baby and I am hoping that will help me get my body back. I am going into this knowing one of my problems is not giving into the temptation of sweets. What do the rest of you do? Any tips on workouts or eating that have worked for you would be great!

have no tips, but I think your haircut is way cute!
Your hair is adorable!! :) I love it! And, I am obviously no diet or excercise guru...haha...but one thing I have done in the past to stay motivated is to make a dream journal. I find it is good to write down everything that I eat - that way I am less inclined to go for that donut because I'll have to be accountable for it. And in that same food journal, I will paste in dream pictures: ones from catalogs of cute outfits I'd like to wear, ones of girls in cute swim suits, ones of the beach or a pool, things like that. That way if I DO end up having to write down "donut" in my food journal, I feel extra guilty because I'm writing it beside a really skinny girl whose body I want to have! :) And another motivational thing is I would pay myself per pound. Whatever my budget would allow at the time, but at least a dollar per pound lost. My plan was to at the end of my weight loss journey to use the money I had earned to buy cute new SKINNY clothes! You are gonna do great! I'm so impressed with a 5 a.m. gym visit!! :)
Your hair is way cute, I need a haircut right about now! A few months after Max was born I started a food journal of sorts as well and it does really help. I also counted calories, you don't realize how many calories you're eating until you're writing every little thing down! I love the idea of paying yourself for each pound lost, I'm going to have to do that...
Good for you. Your hair is cute. I might have to reschedule our play date to next week since I have two sick kids. Darn. I will let you know.
A new cut and style is always so exciting. I like the new do. I don't have any tips about the other thing. But I look forward to seeing the tips your other friends have.
Your hair looks cute! Yeah! I love change. Well, as far as the gym goes, keep a buddy. You will be less likely to skip out because they are relying on you to be there . Don't get discouraged if things are not working like you would like them to, just change it up and keep going! Good luck and way to go!
You look so Cute! I love the hair and I think it is a great pic of you! Way to go with the work out thing. Give it a good couple months and then you will be addicted, I promise. As for the sweets craving... It sounds like a biggest looser add but gum really does help. I really do like Extra because of all the different fruity flavors. I think Strawberry banana is a favorite. I hate counting calories because I'm thinking of food all day long and that makes me hungry and so I eat more. Just try and eat balanced and healthy foods. Also I try and drink 64-96 oz of water, go for water before food and then you wont eat as much, and you may find you were really thirsty not hungry. Then one of the biggest kickers that helped me was not eating after 7. It is really hard sometime but stick to it and you will soon find you aren't hungry that late. It is also a great time to catch up on the water consumption. I actually set the goal for 8 but would find by the time dinner was over cleaned up and the I went for a snack it was already past 8 and I hadn't eaten since before 7 and sometimes 6. Give it a try it is amazing how quick it actually helps. But most important love yourself and think positive thoughts about yourself, it is amazing what or thoughts can produce. When you look in the mirror look for the good things and tell yourself "I look good!" or "I am loosing weight, and I'm healthy!" And you will. Any way now that I've written a book! Good Luck, and don't worry so much about the pounds but how you feel and look to your husband!
