Just thought you all could get an appreciation for the mane that I tame every morning. This is what it looks like, no ratting or anything, when she wakes up in the morning. And I turn it into...
... THIS!!!

I have to give credit to my new favorite blog, I steal her hair do's and adapt them to fit a 2 year olds head of curly hair. http://www.girlydohairstyles.com/

(You can't totally see her hair in this pic, but it turned out really cute!)

Hailey has decided that nap time is NOT for napping, it is for pulling everything out of her closet, toy box and anything else that is put away! The other day she stacked it up and used it as a mountain to climb onto her bed! (Note to reader:the toys are now mom's. She wouldn't clean them up the next day that she did the same thing, so they are in boxes in my room...she hasn't even noticed they are gone!)

Not that I am claiming miracles here with these pictures, but I always knew that my mom was a miracle worker and at times I see those mini-miracles that happen daily. As a missionary we were challenged to pray and seek for mini-miracles everday. It was amazing to me that they really did happen! When I was looking for them, those little coiencidences weren't really luck, they were all part of His masterful plan! And although they may be small, I know that the Lord gives me patience and sanity in the times when I so desperately need it. A phone call from a friend, a cute gift randomly dropped off on my doorstep, they are all little things that just make my day! I am so grateful for the two miracles the Lord entrusted me with, not sure that I am totally deserving of them, but I am grateful they are mine, for now. :)

I love this post! Thanks for your writing down your thoughts. You are so right!!
P.S. Her hair is awesome!!! Nice volume. You do such a good job with it.
You are such an amazing mom!
Wow, I must say, I'm very impressed. My hair looks remarkably similar when I get up... curly hair and humidity don't mix... then add a night of rolling around in bed. Not good. Maybe I'll steal an idea or 2 from that blog... thanks!
You are awesome. I just dump water on my boys heads and run a comb through it. 1 minute max.
I understand the nap thing. Alex has NO toys in his room. It is a huge room with nothing in it but a bed and a dresser. His favorite thing is to pull all his clothes off of the hangers and throw them in the laundry basket. He stopped taking naps at 2 1/2. Hope it doesn't happen to you.
It is good to look for small miracles. It helps the days go by so much smoother. Thanks for the reminder.
That hair is awesome! Like, totally, totally awesome. You are a miracle worker for sure! Keep up the good work-you amaze me!
If I ever have a girl, I am going to need lessons. You such a talented woman. I hope your week goes fast so you can see Dave sooner
How do you get her to stop? The hair IS adorable. Lots of love!
Thank you for this post! I really need some mini miracles in my life! I need some help having patience!
I love that you took her toys away and she didn't notice. We packed the boys toys several days before the move and they didn't care either. Now that we're in the house and have more storage I've got half their toys out of reach!
I found that hair blog too and I love it. Tarryn has finally started letting me do her hair. :) Pretty impressive, mama.
By the way, nice body on the hair!
