I know there is a higher reasoning for a lot of things that happen in life, but that doesn't stop the stress or worry. We have been trying to sell our condo in Pleasant Grove with no luck, so we are putting it up for rent with availablility beginning of August. Thought that maybe some of you out in the blogging world would know some good renters who are looking for an adorable home...it is 3 bedroom, 2 full bath. It is close to BYU/UVU and we are good Landlords.Let me know if you know of anyone.

July fun in the sun or rain!

We had a picnic up the canyon with my family. It was great weather, that is until it started to pour! In spite of it all , we really had a good time, and it gives us something to look back on and laugh! My aunt Pat used the picnic table cloth as a poncho and went around picking up everything that shouldn't get wet. My uncle Kent just wanted to eat his pie and was the lone ranger at the table while the rest of us were huddled under trees! The kids had a good time in the river and just running around. Hailey had her first successful encounter with going "au-natural" in the forrest. She did really well! I am so proud of that girl, she just decided this week to go on the potty and that was that.

4th of July

I did Hailey's hair in a star and sewed, yes stitched red ribbon into her hair to make the star stand out more! :)

I realize as I get older that I have some traditions that, to me, "make" the 4th of July. I LOVE this holiday, seeing everyone patriotic and all dressed in the nations colors gets me all misty eyed. I drove down the street today and found myslef going slower than normal, basking in the spirit of the day with the American flag lining the streets. I went to a flag raising ceremony at 7 while Dave and the kids slept. They had service men talk of their time serving and there was one man there who is crippled from his service. It makes me appreciate our armed forces. Then we went to the park for a hot breakfast and to watch the parade. Hailey loved the candy they threw until she got a sucker, then all she wanted to do was sit in her princess folding chair and eat her sucker. Then it was a BBQ with the Brown family complete with homemade ice cream. I love this country! What a wonderful day!
